Terre di Toscana arrives to its third edition in 2010. Two days (7 and 8 March) devoted to the best Tuscanian wines in Lido di Camaiore, in Versilia, the coast near Lucca and Pisa.
More than 500 operators will create a peaceful and participatory atmosphere, offering their best products in free tastings. Almost all districts of Tuscan wine are represented, with different stylistic impulses that enrich them.
San Martino Fair is a fresh event dedicated to the patron saint of Pietrasanta, which takes place in the city centre of Pietrasanta on 14 and 15 November. This city, situated in Versilia, in the Lucca Province is worldly known for contemporary art events, galleries and exhibitions and for the high state of conservation of its medieval centre.
San Martino Fair offers the chance to buy crafts, antiquities, clothing, sweets, and to partecipate to the shows related to agrozootechnics. The market is based on tastes and traditions. It starts with a wide review of national and local typical products, food and wine. Tastings are offered on-site, along with the opportunity to attend live production of some well-known speciality.

The Region of Tuscany has instituted Festa della Toscana with a Decree in 2001, to commemorate the abolition of the death penalty on 30 November 1786. Granducato di Toscana, hold by Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo, had been the first nation to abolish death penalty.
